Live in Care Assistant- North West
Our Live in Carers make an incredible difference to our client’s lives. Living with an individual 24/7, supporting them in their everyday lives.
Weekend Care Assistant
As a Weekend Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes across both Saturday and Sunday.
Home Care Assistant
Provide compassionate, person-centred care to clients in their own homes, supporting daily living and help personal careing, and independence.
Early Morning Care Assistant
Support clients with their morning routines, including personal care, medication prompts, and breakfast preparation, helping them start their day safely and comfortably with dignity and respect.
Night Care Assistant
Provide overnight care and reassurance to clients, supporting personal needs, safety, and wellbeing throughout the night, with flexibility to travel between locations as required.

We want you to be the best you can be. Along with our extensive induction training programme, we offer plenty of ongoing training and development opportunities. This includes QCFs, Apprenticeships, new monthly training modules, specialised training in specific areas (such as Dementia and Moving & Assisting), annual refresher training, one to one training, additional courses and much more!

We try to move things along as quickly as possible, because we want to get you started with us right away! But it can depend on how fast we get your recruitment checks through, such as your references and DBS. However, whilst we are waiting, you can be getting on with your training, to ensure that you can start with us right away once everything is in place!
We offer extremely competitive rates of pay for our team members. Plus, additional premiums for early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays!
We pay upfront for your DBS, however this will be deducted from your first months wage. This is to allow you to sail through the recruitment process as quickly as possible. We also provide your PPE, ID badge and initial uniform free of charge!
We pay team members on a monthly basis, usually on the 25th of the month. If this date falls on a bank holiday or weekend, we generally pay a day early. Payroll runs from the 6th of the month to the 5th of the next month.
Yes, absolutely! Team members are entitled to 28 days annual leave per year, including bank holidays. This is worked out pro-rata and is dependent on your availability/ worked hours. We also offer additional annual leave (0.5 days per 1 full year of service). This is added to your entitlement the following holiday year. Please note this is capped at 5 additional days maximum per team member.
We don’t currently offer sponsorships; however, we are looking into this and will provide an update as soon as we can.
We are a domiciliary based, therefore provide support to our clients in their own homes. Although we aim to keep you as local as possible, you do require access to your own vehicle and full UK driving licence to join the team.
Yes! We know fuel is expensive, so we pay 45 pence per mile!
Yes! When on shift and travelling to and from clients’ homes, you get paid travel time.
We know that everyone is different, and we try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to working hours. The minimum amount we would ask of you is 5 hours per week, as we have to ensure that we are able to keep you up to date and confident in your role!
We try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to working days and times, because we understand the importance of having a good work – life balance! We will work with you to agree a mutually suitable working availability, but as our clients need us 24/7, 365 days a year, we do ask that everyone does their fair share. This may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Working in community care can be quite challenging and isolating at times. We want to make sure all of our team members feel supported. You will have regular support from the outset of your journey and throughout your entire career with us here at Red Rose Care, whether this is over the phone (office or on call), in person, online etc.. we will be there for you.
We are based in Bamber Bridge, and tend to cover the South Ribble and Preston area. However, we do at times cover places a little further away depending on our client’s needs. Please be assured that we try to ensure you stay within an area when working, so that we can minimise your travel time and mileage.
Depending on our clients’ needs and abilities, our care visits are completed by either one person, or two people. So you will find yourself doing a mixture! However, when you first start with us, you will work with an experienced team member, so that you can get to know our clients, our ways of working, and build your confidence before working independently.
We have a variety of clients with varying conditions, needs and ages, currently ranging from 18 – 105 years young. We currently support people living with Cancer, Dementia, Parkinson’s, Muscular Dystrophy, Heart conditions, Mental Health conditions just to name a few.
Some of our clients simply want a little bit of companionship and support with domestic chores around the house, but then other people need us to assist in all aspects of their lives, from medication, personal care, meal preparation, moving and assisting and toileting care.
